Led by Dr. Cholewa, James Dental is in the Beaverdale neighborhood of Des Moines, a couple of blocks west of where Douglas Avenue meets Beaver Avenue. You’ll find us right next door to Douglas Avenue Presbyterian Church, and just a few minutes from Meredith Middle School and Hoover High School. Most of our patients live close by in the 50310 and 50311 ZIP codes. We also see plenty of families from nearby Urbandale (50322), Windsor Heights (50324), and Johnston (50131). If you live or work anywhere on the northwest side of Des Moines, we’re an easy trip. Book online or give us a call, and we’ll find a time that works for you.

As someone who is very selective about dentists, I can confidently say that Dr. Jim is among the best. The office is spotless, modern, and equipped with the latest technology. Dr. Jim and his entire team create a positive, upbeat atmosphere that instantly puts patients at ease. I highly recommend this practice to anyone looking for exceptional dental care!

It was a fantastic visit. I have had my teeth cleaned many times over the years. Most years 4 cleanings. I have never seen such a dramatic change in appearance.

The service was excellent. The courtesy was excellent.

This is by far the best dentist I have been to at any point. High technology is an important part of the better experience.
